SVP, Internal Sales Manager

Overall Summary

The SVP, Internal Sales Manager is a key driver to the sales success of Natixis Global Associates within the National Sales division. As the leader of our global sales desk, the SVP, Internal Sales Manager will be integral to establishing the direction and overall success of our firm’s distribution. The SVP, Internal Sales Manager will have oversight of approximately fifty people including teams of hybrid wholesalers, inside wholesalers, and sales associates. The ideal candidate must have strong management experience and abilities with demonstrated leadership success and the ability to motivate others. A strong financial services business acumen and familiarity with the design and execution of sales management business strategies is critical. Enthusiasm, accountability and commitment are also integral qualities for interested candidates.

Major Responsibilities

  • Work with Senior Management (National Sales Manager and VP, Distribution) to develop, communicate, and execute strategies to support our sales process
  • Work in conjunction with National Sales Manager to ensure team based sales execution is successful.
  • Ensure through direct reports that all department goals (statistical obligations, compliance guidelines, problem resolution etc.) are achieved
  • Participate in industry groups that provide relevant information to continually improve the department
  • Lead process development as required to enhance team efficiency and overall success
  • Continually assess, challenge, and develop team
  • Partner with Human Resources and Training & Development to effectively manage team and provide relevant training and skill set development
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to direct reports on an ongoing basis

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Series 6, 26, and 63 NASD license
  • Minimum of ten years of prior financial services experience
  • Minimum of five years of prior managerial experience
  • Prior sales or sales management experience strongly preferred
  • Strong business acumen with extensive knowledge of financial marketplace
  • Ability to execute against the vision for our firm
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Ability to lead and motivate others
